Club Marevista: The Holiday Feeling, Bottled

No, the drinks aren’t free. But the feeling is priceless. There are certain moments that define a great holiday. The first glimpse of the sea from the airport transfer. That perfectly chilled drink arriving at your table just as the sun begins to dip. The familiar faces, favourite restaurants and well-worn routines that somehow never lose their magic.

It’s a feeling that most of us spend eleven months of the year trying to recreate.

Enter Club Marevista, the new perfume and personal care brand from the team behind Amsterdam menswear success story MR MARVIS, whose mission is refreshingly simple: bottle that unmistakable Mediterranean holiday feeling and make it available all year round.

Launched in 2025, Club Marevista isn’t just another fragrance brand attempting to sell a dream. It’s built around something far more relatable: nostalgia for those perfect summer moments and the anticipation of the next escape before you’ve even unpacked from the last one.

The name itself tells the story. Club represents belonging, friendship and those people you always seem to gravitate towards on holiday. Marevista combines the Italian-inspired words for sea and view, conjuring images of Riviera terraces, Amalfi sunsets and lazy afternoons overlooking impossibly blue waters.

It’s an exclusive club where everyone is invited.

From Shorts to Scents

The team behind Club Marevista know a thing or two about creating feel-good products. MR MARVIS has built a loyal following through colourful, impeccably made menswear designed to make people feel good about themselves.

Now, armed with years of experience and a sharpened creative vision, they’ve expanded that philosophy beyond the wardrobe and into personal care.

The result is a tightly curated launch collection consisting of just two products: an Eau de Parfum and an SPF 30 Sun Spray.

In an age where brands often launch with dozens of SKUs and endless complexity, there’s something rather refreshing about keeping things simple.

A Fragrance That Smells Like Summer

Fragrance launches often promise to transport you somewhere exotic. Club Marevista’s debut Eau de Parfum actually gets surprisingly close.

Created in partnership with a family-run fragrance house in Grasse, the spiritual home of perfumery, the scent was developed over two years, with the team carefully refining exactly what a Mediterranean summer should smell like.

The result is a woody marine fragrance that avoids the clichés often associated with aquatic scents.

It opens with bright bergamot and elemi, delivering the freshness of that first ice-cold drink after a morning spent in the sun. Marine notes arrive shortly afterwards, evoking salty sea breezes drifting through open terrace doors, before settling into a warm base of sandalwood, cedarwood and oakmoss.

The beauty lies in its versatility. Rather than screaming “summer holiday”, it quietly suggests it. This is a fragrance designed for everyday wear, whether you’re overlooking the Ligurian coast or commuting through a rainy British morning.

Sun Protection Gets an Upgrade

Let’s be honest. Sunscreen has never been the most glamorous item in the grooming cabinet.

Greasy textures, chalky finishes and medicinal scents have long been accepted as part of the SPF experience.

Club Marevista clearly felt we deserved better.

Its new SPF 30 Sun Spray is lightweight, water-resistant and designed to disappear almost instantly into the skin. The formula is enriched with seaweed and rosemary to help hydrate and revitalise, while a touch of spearmint provides a welcome cooling effect on warmer days.

Most importantly, it avoids many of the common complaints associated with sunscreen. No white cast. No heavy residue. No feeling like you’ve wrapped yourself in clingfilm.

The formula is also reef-friendly, vegan and microplastic-free, while providing broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

As Club Marevista co-founder Steven Vrendenbarg puts it: “Sun’s out, guns out. Shorts, skirts, short-sleeve shirts or no shirt: all marvellous, but with the right sun protection.”

Wise words.

Bringing Summer Home

What makes Club Marevista interesting isn’t simply the quality of the products, though both appear thoughtfully executed. It’s the emotional territory the brand occupies.

Luxury has traditionally sold aspiration. Club Marevista sells anticipation.

The excitement of booking the trip. The comfort of returning somewhere familiar. The joy of spending time with your favourite people. Those small rituals that make holidays memorable and the lingering desire to hold onto them for just a little longer.

Can a fragrance and a sunscreen truly recreate the Mediterranean coast?

Probably not.

Can they remind you of it on a grey Tuesday afternoon?

Absolutely.

And sometimes, that’s more than enough.
