Words by Keanu Adorable

In the modern day of fashion, we believe that everyone should be equal, and when it comes to footwear, we understand that men get the upper hand when it comes to footwear collection launches. We believe that everyone should get a chance to own a pair of sneakers no matter who they are. It is the 21st century after all! That’s where brands like Twelvesons are stepping up to give people an opportunity to express themselves through fashion and let people feel free and creative in their own skin. Their new collection features unisex silhouettes that both the ladies and the gents can rock with pride.

With the collections released in instalments with the monikers ‘Art 1’ to ‘Art 18’ there are plenty to choose from, and you can collect them like and build up your collection like a true sneakerhead. These sneakers took inspiration from the classic dress sneaker and revamped the classic Ultra Mid silhouette with intriguing colour and material combinations. The sole of the sneaker is made from a high-end rubber from Margom, providing flexibility and bounce as well as durability. The sneaker has a natural grip and a snug comfortable fit as the upper is lined with natural calfskin for a buttery experience as you dip your feet into the sneaker. You will not only stand out the right way but have a comfortable experience also.

We love aesthetically pleasing combinations, and that is something CMTM and this brand both believe in something, footwear can completely renew any outfit. You can grab or preorder shoes now  over at twelvesons.com

50 Years Of Puma Suede: Doing It For The Culture With The B-Boy Pack

German Sports Brand Puma celebrates 50 years of the ‘Suede’ ushering in unique drops that represent the varied cultures that the iconic sneaker has been a significant part of – from music, fashion, street and pop culture. This month, the party kicks it with the B-Boy Pack.

It may have started as a warm-up shoe, but the Suede got busy off the court when hip-hop was born in the Bronx. Smooth suede, fly colourways and a rubber outsole for grip: an instant B-boy essential. The Suede danced in the streets and hit stages around the world, remixed by new school legends solidifying its status as certified fresh #ForAllTime.

To pay homage to B-boy culture, Puma introduces the B-Boy capsule pack that consists of PUMA Suedes, T7 Track Suits, Tees and Accessories in OG styles and colourways.

Guys, girls and kids can gear up in three colourways. Fellas can pick from Black, Flame Scarlet and Forrest Green-Peacoat. Fly girls can choose from Red Dahlia, Spiced Coral and Blue Indigo while kids can kick it in Black, Flame Scarlet and Forrest Green. All B-boy Suedes come with the trademark thick grippy rubber outsoles perfect for power moves in dance battles. Fat laces fastened by gold name-plate locks make these babies legit breaker material. The kicks arrive in a special edition Suede 50 shoebox with metallic gold details and branding.

To compliment the sneakers and make a bold statement, the pack comes with the iconic PUMA T7 Tracksuit in Black and Flame Scarlet with signature 7-inch stripe down the side. The Suede Name Plate and Laced Tee give serious hip-hop swag. A mean Bucket Hat, a stuntin’ staple Suede Cap and classy Suede Backpack make the B-boy uniform complete.

Reliving an Elite Rivalry – Diadora B.Elite trainer

Words by Keanu Adorable

Italian footwear brand Diadora is a renowned brand when it comes to tennis gear, and tennis legend Bjorn Borg is the brand’s most iconic figurehead. Diadora is famed for being the brand of choice of Bjorn Borg dating back to 1981, Diadora designed the B.Elite (the B stands for Borg) silhouette for Bjorn and is one of the most celebrated tennis shoes ever made.
With the release of the movie Borg vs McEnroe hitting the big screen later this month on the 22nd, it seems only fitting that the iconic B.Elite style, instrumental within the sporting history of that decade is enjoying a resurgence amongst sports fans and hipsters alike. known for his on-court outbursts, LaBeouf’s depiction of former World No. 1 tennis player John Mcenroe, is not to be missed. The actor even made a comparison stating that both him and McEnroe are “passionate, perfectionist, narcissistic.”  The plot follows the pair’s iconic battles in the tennis court throughout the ’70s and ’80s, which eventually culminated in the 1980 Wimbledon Men’s Singles final — a match viewed by some as the greatest ever. McEnroe’s legendary “You can not be serious!” rant occurred the following year in a match at the same tournament. Watch the trailer below:

The B.Elite shoes are available in various designs and colours for both men and women, to browse the collection on line click here.

The Emperor’s New Trainers – NikeLab Dunk Hi X Comme Des Garçons “Invisible Shoes”

by Keanu Adorable

NikeLab has partnered with the Japanese designer brand COMME des GARÇONS to recreate a classic Nike silhouette and following its showcase at the COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus show last October, the “invisible” Nike Lab Dunk Hi is finally being released.

Dubbed the ‘invisible shoes’, the Dunk Hi appears to draw inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen’s cult classic tale about a sorely misled emperor in search of a new wardrobe. The new release aims to address the common misconception that invisibility and transparency are one in the same.

An edgy mix of black leather and clear PVC paired with accents of comfort foam, the shoes are designed with holes for ventilation to ensure maximum breathability. While not completely “invisible,” the side panels and toebox of this NikeLab Dunk Hi allow for some serious look at what’s inside, so be careful when choosing your socks in the morning. What’s great about this feature is, this transparent look allows for those crazy patterned pairs in your drawer to shine through.

The collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS is the second basketball collaboration from Nike this month, released exclusively at the COMME des GARÇONS store in New York.
