Nere Founder, Felicity McGahan’s career spans over 25 years and three continents, leading Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, Store Design and Marketing, as well as in General Management. She has held key executive roles for major multinational companies including Esprit, Reebok, Susan Australia, Gap and Cotton On. Felicity has had the privilege of working alongside, learning from and being mentored by some of the world’s most revered retail leaders who have inspired and informed her own brand of leadership. Felicity’s first overseas chapter had her relocate from Australia to London and the USA, before returning to Australia in 2003 to become CEO of Susan. In 2007 she returned to the USA to Gap Inc. as Vice President of Store Experience eventually expanding her remit to include Marketing & Creative Services, Global Store Experience and General Management of Gap Inc.
After launching in Australia and New Zealand in July 2022 Nere drove 45m in sales in 7 months. The brand’s vibrant collections have been an instant hit with customers, quickly outpacing all other well-known travel brands.
