Wanted Dead or Alive – Outlaws by Belstaff staring David Beckham

Screen Shot 2015-09-20 at 15.27.39Contrary to belief and much denial from himself, David Beckham is not about to start a whole new career as a Hollywood A-lister, however, the evidence does seem to point otherwise. In a recent interview with, on-line retailer MRPORTER, Beckham insisted, “It’s something that I’ve dipped myself into from time to time, but I only did it for a friend, Guy,” he continued. “I did a small bit in The Man from UNCLE and I’ve done a little bit more for him in King Arthur and then obviously there’s what we’ve done with the Outlaws”.

So the friend in question is none other than Director and former Mr Madonna, Guy Ritchie, referring to his recent Blockbuster ‘The Man from UNCLE’ and his upcoming offering ‘Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur’. All sounding very actor like to me so far and what is the Outlaws ? Some reference to Victoria’s family ? I certainly hope not !

Screen Shot 2015-09-20 at 15.26.41Well it is in fact a short film produced by British luxury lifestyle brand, Belstaff, who David currently works as the face and ambassador for. Shot on location in Mexico, the film is written and directed by Geremy Jasper. The synopsis for the film informs us, “Outlaws is a surreal film within a film starring The Stranger, a mysterious drifter and motorcycle stuntman, haunted by memories of a beautiful Trapeze Artist and hunted by a maniacal Director seeking revenge”.

The cast includes David Beckham, Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice) soon to be seen in Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs and JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Cathy Moriarty (Raging Bull) ohh yes and a guy called, Harvey Keitel (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs).

“Outlaws,” is released globally today.

Whatever the Weather – Six of the best Trench Coats

The weather at the moment is as reliable as a TfL train schedule, don’t get me started. You wake in the morning it seems a bit dull and overcast, by the time to get to work the sun is cracking the stones, you fly out to grab some lunch and it pours down and by the time you’ve arrived back to the office the sun has dried you off via its natural radiation, or it can be any of the mixed up aforementioned scenarios, literally four season in one day.

To combat this infuriating conundrum and make your life a little easier we’ve selected six of the best, of a piece of outerwear that EVERY man should possess, the Trench. Thin enough for the transitional period, thick enough to tackle most things Mother Nature can hurl at you, essentially enough to see you through whatever the weather and still having you looking sharper then sixpence, whatever that means ????

OK lets start with something a little left field and not your traditional Trench, from Belstaff @ Harrods.com

Within Trench coat history there is an on going argument as to who first invented the Trench, with Aquascutum claiming they did.
